Welcome to 2nd Mortdale Scout Group!

2nd Mortdale Scout Group have been involved in the Mortdale community since 1952, commemorating our 70th year in 2022.

We provide fun, exciting and adventurous activities for our youth members with the aim to build resilience, confidence, community mindedness and leadership skills that will provide them with skills for life. Everyone is welcome, and we value the diversity of our members. Weekly Unit meetings are usually held at the Hall during the school term (see below) as well as other activities on weekends or school holidays.

2nd Mortdale Scout Hall, 6 Gungah Bay Road Oatley

• Joey Scouts (5 - 8 years old) Monday 5:30pm – 6:30pm

• Cub Scouts (8 - 11 years old) Tuesday 6.30pm – 8:00pm

• Scouts (11-15 years old) Monday 7:00pm – 9:00pm

Your friendship and support are always appreciated and integral to the success of your child’s scouting experience, as well as the success of the Group. There are many opportunities for adults to be involved in our group including holding a position on the Group Support  Committee, assisting at unit meetings and other activities, volunteering at fund raising activities and working bees or becoming a Leader.
